Channelling everything from Jon Lord and Dr. John-type organ action in indie rock band The Switch, to carrying the torch for fans of galactic jazz music as the front man of Dr. Kay and His Interstellar Tone Scientists, Arthur Kay has been a prominent figure on the Oslo music scene for a decade. A sought-after musician, his impressive versatility is further validated through his touring commitments with acclaimed Norwegian rapper Ivan Ave, and instrumental psychedelics Orions Belte.

Following 2019's "Arthur Kay" EP is "Holiday Pay EP". The original full length version of "Holiday Pay" was released as a single in the summer of 2019, and this summer we release the shorter radio edit of the single. Also included are two remixes of the song, one of them by famed Norwegian hiphop producer, beatmaker and Ivan Ave collaborator Fredfades. The EP also includes one new song "Take Flight".

“Holiday Pay” celebrates the great Norwegian invention of "holiday pay" – your employer is required by law to pay you a certain percentage of last year's wages as holiday pay every summer.
